Quickstart

Charge the battery — LP-E12 battery. Plug into USB-C charger (in the bag). Red light = charging, green = done.

Insert SD card — slot is on the right side. Any Class 10 / UHS-I card works. I leave one in the bag.

Set your mode — turn the dial. P for auto-ish, Av for portrait/photo, M for full manual video.

Shoot — half-press shutter to focus, full press to shoot. Flip the screen out for vlogging.

Return it — format the SD card in-camera before returning (Menu → Tools → Format Card). Return battery charged.
