Quickstart

Check airspace first — open the DJI Fly app, check the map for red/yellow zones. Livermore has some restricted areas. Do NOT skip this.

Charge everything — drone battery via the charger hub, RC via USB. Fully charge before flying.

Calibrate compass — DJI Fly will prompt on first flight in a new location. Follow the on-screen spin instructions.

Fly in Cine mode first — slowest and most forgiving. Move up to Normal once you're comfortable.

Return to Home — RTH button brings it back automatically. Set RTH altitude above any obstacles nearby before taking off.
