Charge the gimbal — Micro-USB port on the handle. Charge fully before use (~2hrs).

Balance your phone — slot phone into the clamp, slide the clamp along the arm until it holds level without power. This is important.

Power on — hold the M button. Open DJI Mimo app on your phone for full features.

Switch modes — press M once to cycle between Follow, Lock, and FPV mode. Lock mode is most stable for walking shots.

ActiveTrack — in the Mimo app, draw a box around your subject. The gimbal will follow them automatically.
